Job Description: Academic Councelor
Examples of Duties:
- Respond quickly and effectively to inbound inquiries via phone calls and emails.
- Proactively build, maintain, and manage a highly productive pipeline.
- Document all activities, lead dispositions, and insights
- Determine prospective students needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
- Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors’ products
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Multitasking, meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrate progress of leads from Suspect stage to payment
- Submit daily report
- Populi to be updated regularly
- Follow up on Leads and making them to register for Webinar
- Coordinate with Registrar and Admissions on regular basis. Respond to queries within same working day or max by 24 hours.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a proven track record of over-achieving monthly and quarterly goals
- Experience in successfully managing a high volume of client interactions, via email and phone.
- Ability to remain calm and use ingenuity when facing challenges.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Proven history of success and achievement.
- A desire to build a career in Business development.
Education and Experience:
- 3 years of experience in sales and lead generation.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Student Recruiting, Enrolment, or field related to area of assignment AND one year academic advising experience; OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
