Job Description: Academic Councelor

Examples of Duties:

• Respond quickly and effectively to inbound inquiries via phone calls and emails.
• Proactively build, maintain, and manage a highly productive pipeline.
• Document all activities, lead dispositions, and insights
• Determine prospective students needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
• Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors’ products
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Multitasking, meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrate progress of leads from Suspect stage to payment
• Submit daily report
• Populi to be updated regularly
• Follow up on Leads and making them to register for Webinar
• Coordinate with Registrar and Admissions on regular basis. Respond to queries within same working day or max by 24 hours.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a proven track record of over-achieving monthly and quarterly goals
• Experience in successfully managing a high volume of client interactions, via email and phone.
• Ability to remain calm and use ingenuity when facing challenges.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Proven history of success and achievement.
• A desire to build a career in Business development.

Education and Experience:

• 3 years of experience in sales and lead generation.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Student Recruiting, Enrolment, or field related to area of assignment AND one year academic advising experience; OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
