Job Description Summary:
This position is responsible for working with payroll and the general ledger, processes weekly, multi-state payroll. Prepares and reviews monthly payroll and other journal entries and completes assigned account reconciliations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process weekly multi-state payroll
- Manage employee benefits by ensuring benefits are paid by employee on a weekly basis
- Process voluntary and involuntary deductions
- Pay multi-state withholding taxes
- Report and pay multi-state unemployment taxes
- Process journal entries
- Process 941’s
- Prepare and send out W2’s
- Close monthly, quarterly and annual payroll periods
- 401k reporting and reconciliation
- Prepare monthly census reporting
- Assists with quarterly and annual review/audit requests
- Other projects as directed by supervisor or manager

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
