Immediate Consideration…Direct Hire Positions Available
This Direct Hire position offers competitive pay, benefits, and multiple locations of your choosing within Kansas City.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Follow the Creative Curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices,
- Develop and implement weekly lesson plans in conjunction with the classroom teachers,
- Maintain accurate attendance and meal records,
- Responsible for observing and making anecdotal notes,
- Complete developmental screenings,
- Conduct all required parent/teacher conference and home visits,
- All other job-related duties.
Skills and Qualifications
- CDA or AA/BA in Early Childhood Education or related field (Required)
- Minimum of 18 credit hours in Child Growth and Development
- 12 months of experience in an early childhood classroom
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to lift up to 55 pounds.
- Frequent bending, walking, squatting, lifting, standing, and/or sitting.
