ECFx, a dynamic growth stage business, is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join its team and contribute to the growth of its state-of-the-art SaaS application in the legal tech market. As part of a newly-created team supporting our existing Account Executives, this role will support key aspects of the sales process including identifying and qualifying prospects, engaging and nurturing leads, and strategically communicating the value of our solution to drive results.
The successful candidate will become an integral part of the business, proficient at understanding relevant legal workflows and effectively communicating the value of our product. This individual must consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and be adaptable to the company's rapid growth. Familiarity with sales tools and techniques, CRM systems (Hubspot), and a solid understanding of the legal tech market are valuable assets for this role.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Identify and qualify potential leads through research and outreach efforts, specifically in the legal industry.
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other communication methods to engage with prospects.
- Educate prospects about ECFx's legal tech solutions and their benefits.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of ECFx's products and services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads.
- Provide feedback and insights from prospect interactions to enhance the sales process.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to effectively position ECFx's offerings.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. (preferred)
- 2 to 4 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the legal tech industry.
- Proven track record of successfully selling software solutions to law firms and legal departments, including SMB and enterprise segments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify and qualify leads, conduct outreach, and engage with prospects effectively.
- Proficiency in using CRM software to manage and track lead interactions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Familiarity with industry trends and competitors in the legal tech sector.
