Position Overview:
  • A highly motivated and skilled consultant to fill a challenging position as a Business Development Executive.
  • This position is responsible for the development and execution of sales plans to support revenue and profit objectives to meet or exceed company sales goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Inside sales and support to sell software applications, mobile applications, card solutions and management services.
  • Call on government agencies to prospect and get new accounts.
  • Build relationships and provide solutions to potential new clients and existing clients.
  • Manage the business development effort, generate and qualify leads for subsequent development, perform key account planning and maintain favorable business relationships with key accounts.
  • Identify, develop and close new business opportunities.
  • Participate in networking, industry organizations and events.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Three or more years of experience of business-to-business consultative technical sales and business development (software, SaaS, web applications, mobile apps) to include cold calling.
  • Experience with preparing sales and web presentations, RFPs/RFQs, bids and proposals.
  • Effective in networking, referrals and building relationships.
  • Experience selling to City and State Government, and C-level clients.
  • Solid working experience with MS Office Suite; experience with a CRM tool like Salesforce.
  • Bachelor's Degree, (Business - Sales or Marketing, preferred).
  • Independent worker able to function with a minimum amount of direction.
  • Strong communication skills written, verbal and listening.
  • Strong prospecting, sales and closing skills.
  • Must be well-organized with the ability to orchestrate multiple parties involved in a decision-making process.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, communicate and be a team player.
  • Has a referral process in place.

Preferred Experience:
  • Management or leadership experience.
  • Marketing, Transportation, Senior Living, or Trade Show Management experience.

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 / year.
