Job Description
- Expand and Enhance the production networking environment
- Recommend designs relevant to the production environment to ensure appropriate performance, resilience, and security.
- Define requirements, evaluate and plan/manage changes to production infrastructure.
- Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans for all network system components.
- Maintain the Networking Environment
- Monitor vendor alerts regarding functionality, security or performance issues related to firm equipment and systems.
- Monitor vulnerability findings related to networking equipment
- Perform regular maintenance of the firm’s networking infrastructure, including upgrading, patching, and tuning components.
- Document and maintain accurate configuration information and network diagrams.
- Support the Networking Environment
- Establish and adjust configurations in support of firm initiatives.
- Contribute to upskilling level 1 and level 2 systems operations support teams
- Provide documentation and training for additions or changes to our environment.
- Assist as 3rd level support.
- Support Team Initiatives
- Maintain current knowledge of current and emerging technologies, regularly analyzing and evaluating their impact and benefit to Firm.
- Provide backup support for other members of the Network Engineering team.
- Provide assistance to users and other parts of IT
- Manage network-related trouble tickets
- Assist with the preparation of team status/progress reports
- Communicate proactively, openly and clearly.
- Perform other departmental duties as necessary
- Support initiatives and special projects of other teams as required
- On-Call Escalation availability off-hours and weekends when required
- After-hours work required during project implementation
- Some Traveling may be required
- 100 % remote
Salary : $85,000 - $120,000
