Summary
As the Sr. Manager- healow Insights, this manager will oversee many of the day-to-day functions of the technical services, analytics, and project management functions. They will be responsible for hiring, retention, and expansion of capabilities of the team but also work with on-going on continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Managing the Healow Insights Unit- 25%
- Develop Technical Services Competency and devise strategies for growing the current set into a smarter, faster and functionally stronger group. (10%)
- Help Develop best practices and procedures for utilizing EMR and PM to enable architects to focus more on the business problems at hand. (5%)
- Perform the role of mentor and coach for his Analytics team. (5%)
- Provide input and guidance into staffing for development projects. (5%).
Staffing, recruitment, and resource retention for the Analytics unit - 10%
- Conduct interviews for candidates across the board. Conduct campus recruitment for fresh college graduates (3%)
- Define skill sets and prepare question papers for written examinations for candidates (2%)
- Participate in career growth path discussions with eClinicalWorks’s resources (3%)
- Participate in resource retention activities involving acting as coach, mentor and career guide to resources across geographies (2%)
Project Management and Delivery -50%
- Provide the primary communication channel between the client and the engineering team to ensure clear, concise understanding of client requirements. (10%)
- Conduct system analysis and create final technical and functional specifications in order to define, structure, design and implement a uniform, high-quality, cost-effective order management solution. (10%)
- Prepare project plans including effort, time, and cost estimation and manage the project delivery, risk, and schedule. (10%)
- Set realistic and practical goals and allocate tasks to team members accordingly. (5%)
- Regularly track project progress to ensure timely delivery. (2%)
- Manage day-to-day interactions with client executives and project team members (2%)
- Lead a team which may be located in different geographical locations and time zones to meet the project deliverables on time and on budget (5%)
- Educate and train client personnel on the solution being delivered (2%)
- Help client architects define and design the overall enterprise architecture and future roadmap (2%)
- Mobilize and manage engagement teams in deploying key capabilities and manage engagement economics and risk (2%)
Project Crisis Management – 15%
- Participate in crisis management of projects which involves delivery slippage, performance tuning aspects and/or solution issues; give oversight to project teams and create a risk mitigation plan (5%)
- Facilitate open communication with clients about issues and next action plan to mitigate them (3%)
- Conduct solution review and prioritize a list of fixes that would resolve most of the client issues with minimum rework (2%)
- Educate clients on industry best practices and get buy in from them to align with product capabilities as best as possible (2%)
- Provide technical oversight and inputs to solve performance issues which are leading to missed SLAs (2%)
- Conduct a project team analysis if team changes are required (either augment or replace resources) (1%)
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in eClinicalWorks products
- 5 years of experience in managing people directly in a technical, analytics and project management areas
