Day & Zimmermann is currently seeking an Electrical / Mechanical Planner to create work packages required for site maintenance and upgrade projects at a fuel fabrication and enrichment facility in New Mexico.

- Thorough understanding of Microsoft software
- Ability to work independently, use problem-solving judgment and organize and prioritize work assignments
- Ability to conduct oneself professionally and with diplomacy and to maintain confidentiality where necessary
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Full knowledge of the Planning requirements within the Nuclear industry (e.g. reference material, process and procedures), and experience planning within the client's work management system
- Develop comprehensive work packages within client's work management system (using Limble, SAP, Prometheus)
- Support field operations on tagging/clearance requirements
- Interface with field operations on the development of estimate, schedule and resource loading
- Assist in material procurement and material receipt inspection
- Perform real and virtual walk downs with field operations
- High school diploma required; some college or post secondary education preferred
- 5 to 10 years of applicable experience, or BS Degree in Engineering plus 3 years of field planning experience
- Computer proficiency certifications a plus or equivalent education
- Limble, SAP, and Prometheus Planning experience desired
- Ability to successfully complete any screening (drug/alcohol, background psychological, training, etc.) required to obtain and maintain full unescorted access to nuclear facility
