We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Room Administrator to enhance our team at Westdown Camp in Sailsbury. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support and manage radio communications, ensuring smooth operations across our extensive estate. The position is being offered on a 27-hour per week basis, shifts will be 9 hours long, 3 times per week and will include weekends and nights, rotas will be provided in advance. Handle radio communications and liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively
Follow structured processes and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Ensure that the “Safe Place” is established and maintained in support of military training and other estate users
Participate in a 24/7 shift rotation, ensuring operational coverage around the clock
Use bespoke and standard software packages to support administrative and operational tasks
Exhibit a friendly and professional telephone manner, capable of dealing with challenging customer inquiriesThe Ideal Candidate
Familiar with emergency procedures and capable of quick, decisive action
Understands and can navigate using mapping and grid systems
Proficient with Microsoft Office and communications equipment, and comfortable with various software tools
Demonstrates solid reading, writing, and numerical skills
Proven track record in administrative or support roles, with strong organisational capabilities
Experience in effective communication with various stakeholders
