Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the production line, ensuring that all production targets are met and that all processes are running efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate and manage the activities of the production team, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Implement and enforce quality control and safety measures, ensuring that all products meet the company's high-quality standards and that all operations are carried out safely.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues, applying basic problem-solving skills to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Engineering and Quality Assurance, to identify and implement process improvements.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Prepare and present production reports, providing insights into production performance and recommending strategies for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a production supervisory role within the Engineering industry.
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving machine-related issues.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control measures, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
