Sustainability Consultant (Overheating) - Part O, TM52/TM59

PLEASE NOTE: To be considered for this role you will need to have direct field experience in Part O, TM52/TM59 assessments! Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum dependant on experience Contract: Full-time (36.25 hours per week) Location: Remote (United Kingdom) AES Sustainability Consultants Ltd is an award-winning consultancy firm that works with some of the leading UK housebuilders and developers, delivering high quality energy and sustainability advice and assessments to the construction and property industries. This role will focus on overheating assessments in accordance with the Part O regulations. The successful candidate will be a team player with the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and clients. Good attention to detail is essential as the role requires a high degree of precision and organisational skills. This role is fully remote with minimal travel required. All IT equipment will be provided. Key Accountabilities: Producing Overheating TM52 and TM59 assessments, Part O assessments Active engagement with the client and project team to ensure that sustainability requirements are taken into consideration and achieved throughout the duration of the development Delivery of high-quality overheating and thermal comfort analysis using IES Thermal Modelling using IES software Being involved in Energy Assessments and modelling improvements Consult on building design to comply with Part L Energy and Sustainability statements for planning Competencies: Be competent in the use of IES for overheating analysis including TM59 and TM52 Be computer literate and have a good level of general education, particularly in Maths, Science and English Be able to self-manage a busy and time-critical schedule of work Have excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and able to maintain a positive professional attitude when under pressure Be a team player and maintain good humour in times of stress Be self-motivated and able to deal with a fast-moving, high-pressure environment Benefits: 25 days annual holiday allowance plus statutory days and a holiday buy/sell scheme Contributory pension Discretionary bonus Staff social events Flexible hours Remote working Life assurance Electric vehicle scheme Health insurance AES is a proud equal opportunities employer.
