This Procurement Representative position is an exciting role that will support various Transportation Categories within Logistics Procurement. This position will report to a Procurement Manager within the Logistics Procurement function. The strong performer can expect further career advancement with Ecolab and will have the opportunity to move into other procurement and supply chain leadership roles within the organization. What You Will Do:
Learn and apply Total Delivered Cost sourcing process tools and skills to execute sourcing initiatives within the Logistics Procurement Category
Own key sourcing initiatives for the outbound Logistics categories and Inbound Transportation/ Drop Ship Management Programs for Raw Materials/ Packaging/ Equipment
Collaborate with Suppliers and cross-functional teams (Procurement, Logistics Operations, Suppliers, Plants, etc.) to identify, develop, and implement sourcing strategies and projects to reduce total delivered cost and increase efficiencies within the transportation category
Identify, develop and implement savings projects and reporting to include pipeline development, project execution, headwind/tailwind reporting & tracking, and financial validation. Engage supplier/ carrier organization and internal stakeholders to achieve project milestones and action plans
Conduct mini-bid sourcing activity for Domestic and International Transportation
Opportunity for event administration and Category Team content management
Effectively communicate strategies, results, and metrics to leadership teams as required
Execute contract management through assembly and cataloging of contracts. Work closely with legal counsel and suppliers to negotiate final terms & conditions. Evaluate and communicates contract coverage across top materials and suppliers.
Lead the procurement engagement in new Supplier/Carrier introduction, approval, and setups
Manage processes critical to the efficient functioning of the procure-to-pay process
Ensure assigned spend is fully documented, categorized and reproducible in the procurement system(s)
Provide monthly Market Updates for assigned spend categories
This position will follow Ecolab's hybrid work model being in office 3-days and the option to work remote 2-days per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or related field
3 years of professional work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated history of leadership
Experience in Logistics Procurement, Logistics Operations, or Planning
Experience with eProcurement tools such as GEP, InfoNexus, Jaggaer, etc.
Demonstrated skills in clear communication and good presentation skills
Demonstrated competitive drive and strong orientation for results and achievement
Demonstrated professionalism and strong presence in interactions with others
Demonstrated teamwork and project management skills
Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
An advanced degree, in business, finance or a related area or plans to start/ progress toward one
