Ecolab is seeking a Regional Training Manager who will play a critical role in onboarding and training new Ecolab Pest Elimination Service Specialists. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and coaching Field Operations Managers to execute new hire training in the field, facilitating classroom training in St. Paul, and developing classroom curriculum in alignment with Ecolab’s service standards to drive individual and team success.

What You Will Do:
Lead classroom facilitation for Training Academy cohorts
Design, develop and update classroom curriculum, exams and materials
Communicate with regional, market and field operations management to resolve any issues that arise with a new hire as related to the 5-week academy
Serve as the region training partner to develop training strategy and deliverables aligned with region needs
Develop yearly training strategy & deliverables with regional partners (review plan mid-year)
Coach & provide feedback to Field Operations Managers within a Market by performing a minimum of two in-field observations per month during infield training weeks
Partner with R&D, Marketing, Safety and other operational partners, possibly outside of the division, and globally on projects to further training innovations
Perform train-the-trainer sessions to keep Field Operations Managers up-to-date on new program content and materials
Deliver licensing and continuing education (CEU) requirements for the region as needed
Participate in content development and/or facilitation of training at annual Pest Leadership Meeting, Mega-Meetings, Pest Training Academy, Pest Leadership Academy, Manager Essentials, etc.

Position Details:
This position is located in Southern California or Las Vegas; with relocation assistance offered if applicable
Travel: within the region & to Minnesota
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and Ecolab work experience (1.5 years of Ecolab experience = 1 year of post-secondary education)
5 years of professional work experience
2 years of management experience or 2 years in a training/teaching role
Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record (2 years)
Possess or ability to obtain state certification and business licensing
Willingness to travel 50% or more including nights and weekends
Ability to lift and/or carry 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of Pest industry knowledge and experience
5 years of management experience
5 years in a training/teaching role
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
Strong interpersonal communication, conflict resolution and cross functional partnership skills
Previous experience supervising a remote team
Demonstrated leadership experience
Proven ability to teach, coach, and support others to succeed
Ability to assess performance and provide constructive feedback
In-depth knowledge of Ecolab Pest Elimination policies, protocols, and programs.
Intermediate PC skills in MS Office software, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
