What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics position at ECOLAB?
This position leads all our marketing analytics including media, digital and market sizing. In this role, you will work closely with our media agency partner to analyze our media plans supporting Ecolab Science Certified, Water for Climate and other campaigns. This includes digital, TV, out of home and other mediums. The position also will be responsible for website analytics and account-based marketing analytics. Additional responsibilities will be to lead our bi-annual market grid process. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis, marketing strategy, and the ability to transform data into actionable insights. The geographic scope is global. This position reports to the head of Customer Insights.
Accountabilities:
Media Tracking and Assessment:
- Partner with agencies to develop plans to effectively measure campaign objectives. Measurement of digital and broadcast media Monitoring of key metrics including awareness, click through rates, conversion, etc.
- Ensure media report outs tell "the story". Deliver clear implications and recommended actions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and media agency to optimize our spend.
Website analytics:
- Track website performance, user behavior, and traffic sources.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in website conversion funnels.
- Create custom reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Account-Based Marketing Analytics:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to define target account lists and key performance indicators for account-based marketing campaigns.
- Utilize marketing automation platforms and CRM systems to track and analyze campaign performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to refine account-based marketing strategies and tactics.
- Measure the impact of account-based marketing initiatives on pipeline and revenue growth.
- Bi-annual Market Grid process (global roll up of our market opportunity by industry):
- Lead bi-annual process and report to senior leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Statistics or related. Master's degree preferred.
- 5 years of media analytics experience.
- Proven experience in marketing analytics, with a focus on digital and broadcast media analysis, Google Analytics, and account-based marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Media agency experience a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
