Job Description

Role-Backend PHP Developer

Must be strong with PHP and MySQL

  • SQL schema manipulation including the creation of new tables and migration of data.
  • Writing new SQL queries and rewriting existing ones to work with a new schema.
  • Update existing PHP code to work with new or updated queries.
  • Write new PHP code to for our event processing framework.

Required Skills:

  • Several years of experience with both PHP and mySQL
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with pub/sub technology (we are using Amazon SNS).
  • Ability to quickly learn the existing DB schema and data reporting requirements
