What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialty Technician position at ECS Ltd?

You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team - and your role is key to the success of ECS. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in:
Conducting field observations and obtaining samples for testing
Documenting field observations and site activities daily in detailed field reports
Performing destructive and non-destructive tests on construction materials
Operating electric, pneumatic, and power actuated tools
Performing concrete sawing, coring, and chipping
Observing structural and reinforced steel connections in the field, both bolted and welded
Performing steel and concrete plant inspections
Interacting and communicating daily with contractors, technicians and project managers
What We're Looking For
High School diploma or GED
5 years of experience
ICC Steel/High Strength Bolt certification or AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification
- Some serious GRIT and have no problem carrying 40 – 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height
Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites – Mileage will be reimbursed
