What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales (Southeast Area) position at ECSD Inc.?
Inside Sales:
Fundamental Duties
- Update and maintain our CRM database
- Make phone calls using our CRM database and phone system so calls are documented
- Daily hourly call rate needs to be 10 or more calls per hour on average each week. This average includes breaks but not lunch. The simple math is 50 calls or more in 5 hours.
- Abandoned calls will not count toward the average call pace.
- Voice mail calls do count toward the sales call pace but leaving voicemails when calling has a standard of its own to be followed to ensure we eventually speak to the decision maker.
- Set Appointments from our CRM database
- An established average appointment pace is 1 appointment per 10 hours is current for our company but we have had better results when the database is maintained well.
- Send calendar invite when Appointments are made
- Maintain accurate records of sales calls in our CRM program.
Sales Days and Hours
- Work is done in our office between 9 AM and 4 PM weekdays that are not holidays
- 25 hours per week are available to be spread out during the week as best fits the sales team schedule. The schedule is determined by the Sales Manager Marci Teague.
- Calls are made every hour for 50 minutes with the final 10 minutes of the hour being used as paperwork or other catch up work if needed.
- Breaks are taken for 10 minutes every 2 hours and you are encouraged to get away from your desk if possible.
- A thirty (30) minute lunch must be taken before you have worked five (5) hours per the law
- Personal phone use should be limited to break periods unless it is an urgent need
Sales Wages and Compensation
- Hourly wage is $20.00 per hour. Time card is self generated using the UKG App.
- Commission on appointments set is $25 per appointment for appointments ending up in a proposal for cleaning.
- This ensures we are only compensating for appointments that fit our business model and appointments that are not canceled.
- An appointment is classified as a meeting creating a proposal.
- If multiple buildings are included in the appointment and there is one signature for all buildings, then this is only one appointment.
- If buildings are issued separate contracts, then each building is a separate appointment and multiple commission payments are made equivalent to the number of contracts submitted.
- Commission for appointments is not affected by the result of the submitted bid since the appointment setter does not have influence over the closing of the sale.
