Responsibilities of the Web Developer:

EDC Consulting is seeking to hire a Web Developer in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The Web Developer will:

Use a variety of internet technologies, techniques, and tools such as graphics software applications and object-oriented languages (e.g., Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML) to create web page elements.

Develop, test, maintain, and support high-performance, innovative web-based applications in collaboration with the software development lead.

Analyze and troubleshoot complex software problems, providing solutions using the latest technologies.

Work independently on more complex projects.

Integrate new web products with existing web applications to enhance the organization's website functionality and design.

Responsible for ongoing management of storage infrastructure, ensuring compliance with best practices, and providing technical leadership.

Seasoned Technical Writer overseeing the preparation, review, and maintenance of highly complex technical documents for diverse programs and contracts.

Qualifications:

Eight (8) years of experience as a Web Developer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Four (4) years of additional Web Developer experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
