Job Posting for Channel Marketing at Candidate Experience site
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Fortinet channel sales teams and field marketing teams, to drive company initiatives
Developing, driving and implementing channel marketing activities and measurement for partners
Integrate strategies and tactics, to be implemented towards partners.
Management of annual events calendar-by event, city, distributor.
Support partner recruitment via events, communications, incentive programs, etc.
Build and maintain a working relationship with Fortinet distributors and vendors.
Ensure that all key partners are fully engaged and actively promoting Fortinet products, be a key player in shaping partner enablement plans.
Executing and coordinating Partners and Distributor marketing plans, leveraging Channel Development Funds to ROI.
Event logistics and support including creation and management of registration pages, venue search and comparison, vendor negotiation, merchandises selection and shipment, communications, and event execution.
Communicating with field marketing team to create effective advertisements for each event.
Support Fortinet’s SMB Marketing strategy, resources, campaigns and activities within the Latin America Region.
Travel to and support onsite execution of key events as needed
Experience: Minimum 2 years high-tech marketing and channel experience, ideally in the networking or security software industry
Experience in partner enablement activities and programs
Experience in managing agencies, vendors and regional projects
Experience in field sales and field marketing in customer facing roles is a plus
Skills:
Strong communication skills, and the ability to present partner event ideas and plans to internal team
Ability to communicate orally and in writing and verbally in a clear, straightforward and professional manner in Spanish and English. Portuguese a plus.
Ability to use a personal computer and demonstrate proficiency with software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and more for the purposes of communicating and reporting
Ability to create effective relationships, influence and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing related field
Certifications in events and enablement activities planning or marketing a plus.
Industry cybersecurity certifications a plus (Fortinet NSE, CISSP, others)
