Eden Green Technology is hiring a Sanitation Technician for our vertical greenhouses in Cleburne, TX (~20 mins from Fort Worth).
We’re looking for passionate, driven and hardworking individuals. Sanitation Technician positions are hands-on and require individuals who enjoy rolling up their sleeves and are accustomed to manual labor-intensive jobs.
As a Sanitation Technician, you will be an essential part of our operations, ensuring that all areas of our hydroponic greenhouse are clean, sanitized, and organized. Your work will directly contribute to our ability to provide safe, high-quality produce to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete pre-operation and post-operation task lists to mitigate any cross contamination between production shifts.
Conduct regular cleaning and sanitation of all greenhouse areas, including production spaces, equipment, and common areas.
Use and maintain sanitation equipment and supplies effectively, ensuring they are stored properly after each use.
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, hand wash station supplies, and personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed, notifying management of any shortages or issues.
Collaborate with other departments to identify areas requiring special attention and develop a cleaning schedule.
Participate in training sessions on sanitation best practices, safety procedures, and the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a sanitation role, preferably in a food production setting, is advantageous but not required.
Ability to follow strict sanitation standards and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Physical ability to perform tasks requiring continuous standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Competitive Benefits:
Pay band: $14-$16/hr based on experience
Compensation is negotiable based on relevant experience or education
After 60 days, the employee will also qualify for full benefits, paid time off and holidays.

Greenhouse Hours:
Shift A: Monday - Friday - 6AM - 2:45PM
Shift B: Saturday - Tuesday - 6AM - 4:45PM
Daily break: 2 fifteen minute breaks and a 45 minute lunch break
