Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm
Description
The staff trainer collaborates with clinical coordinators, teachers and teacher assistants to provide necessary training to staff to work with students on a 1:1 basis, or work with multiple students at a time. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with the orientation and training of new staff, leading or assisting with group activities, collecting data for student IEP and behavior management plan goals, aiding in the development of educational materials and assisting students as needed with activities of daily living.
Skills Needed
High school diploma and must have passed the New York State assessment of teaching assistant skills (ATAS) exam. RBT or other advanced credential or experience in ABA preferred. Strong planning and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must possess a high level of professionalism and ability to motivate/lead others through guidance and example.
Pay Rate
$21 – $25 per hour
