Compensation
- $28 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite work as directed by field supervisors & foremen
- Erect and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and devices in buildings
- Install electrical components in accordance with building codes and regulations
- Work with other electricians and contractors to install lighting fixtures and devices
- Diagnose electrical problems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Test circuits to determine whether they are live or dead
- Measure voltage, amperage, resistance, phase displacement using electrical instruments
- Knowledgeably discuss the implications of installing various types of wiring
- Ensure that the work is done in accordance with code, including the National Electrical Code
Qualifications:
- Tenant Improvement experience (Class A)
- Ability to complete jobs from start to finish
- Experience with nLight, wattstopper, Douglas, and Blue Box lighting controls
- 5 years of electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or residential
- TDLR Journeyman Electrician License (preferred, but not required)
- Efficiency in troubleshooting, problem solving and making repairs in a timely manner
- Experience in installation of electrical panel systems, conduit, wiring and fixtures
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Willingness to submit to and pass drug screen
