What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCU Nurse position at Edge Global?
- 2 years’ experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
- Cardiac Progressive Care RN 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS
- CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Traveler must provide proof of a current Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) or Dysrhythmia exam or will be tested during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) test will be dismissed.
- SHIFTS: nights shift - start time 1900 Shift length12 hours - Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays are required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location and to all areas in which they are trained, including the ED and alternate holding areas to care for appropriate patients, including PresNow ED/UC (freestanding urgent/emergent care facilities).
