What are the responsibilities and job description for the Furnace Tender position at Edge Outdoors?
$2,000 retention bonus and $500 sign on bonus
Currently hiring Furnace Tender for an aluminum casting facility. These are full time positions with benefits and 401k. Shifts would start on nights, 12 hour shifts working 2 on / 2 off, 3 on / 3 off. No rotating shifts.
Furnace TenderResponsibilities:
- Running forklift and overhead crane
- Prepare the casting lines and furnaces
- Handling of molten metals
- Abiding to all safety rules and regulations
Furnace Tender Requirements:
- Must have general manufacturing experience
- Experience in a steel mill / Foundry environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be willing to work nights. (just 1 shift, not a swing shift)
- Must pass drug screen
- Must pass background check
Furnace Tender Compensation:

- $1.00 Shift differential for night shift
