What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ambulatory RN Manager - Geriatrics position at Edge Recruitment Solutions?

We seek a California licensed candidates with two (2) or more years of ambulatory clinic operation experience for the role of Clinical Nurse Manager. The person in this role will operate a high-performing, well-equipped, and safe clinic, as well as ensure workflow efficiency, clarity, and protocols. She/he will hire, retain, coach, develop, supervise, and ensure the RN Case Managers, Clinic RN, Medical Assistants, and other clinic team members are engaged and healthy. She/he will analyze data with attention to trends, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities, performing root cause analysis, evaluating care delivery processes, and based on findings, making recommendations to the CSD on changes to strategies, workflows, and policies to continuously improve clinic operations. She/he will ensure nursing and clinic staff deliver and correctly document interventions as agreed upon in participants’ care plans, including but not limited to promptly and accurately responding to physician orders, completing assessments, , and actively participating in care planning for all assigned participants.
Candidates must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of California. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience overseeing an ambulatory clinic operation including RN, LVN, and MA staff; equivalent nurse leader experience in a high volume, outpatient setting may be substituted. Must have at least two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population.
The role includes highly competitive compensation (salary to $152,000 based on experience) and Medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision) as well as 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and sick time. 401 K savings match also offered.
