Job Description - AWS DBA
6 Years’ Experience in PostgreSQL, AWS AuroraDB, RDS, AWS DocumentDB Database Administration.
Experience in Cloud DB migrations and handling cloud DBA operations & performance tuning
Strong Experience with backups and recovery
Strong Experience with Configuring and maintain the PostgreSQL databases
Strong Experience with streams replication
Strong performance tuning skills and experience
Experience in Shell scripting.
Experience in migrating from Sybase/MSSQL/DB2/Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL to AWS AuroraDB will be an added plus
Experience in migrating from MongoDB to AWS DocumentDB will be an added plus
Well versed in storage management and storage tuning
Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Expert with backup and recovery solutions including planning, implementing and periodic evaluation of backup/recovery (offline/online) and fast recovery strategies
Understanding of capacity planning and traffic modeling
Access management, Auditing and security management experience
Knowledge of MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase, DB2 will be an advantage
Ability to lead the team
Strong communication skills
Ready to work either from Charlotte client Office.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
