Job Posting for Field Registered Nurse (RN) - Queens at Edison Home Health Care
Edison Home Health Care is a leading established Home Health Care Agency, servicing patients in all 5 NYC boroughs. We are currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to care for patients in the home care setting in the Queens area.
Job Duties:
- Evaluates patients referred for home care to determine appropriateness for admission.
- Assesses patients routinely and creates/adjusts the aide Plan of Care based on patient needs.
- Provides routine supervision to Home Health Aides and ongoing instruction/counseling as needed.
- Completes documentation accurately and submits to the agency office in a timely manner.
- Establishes and promotes ongoing communication with Agency personnel.
- Assures customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- R.N. diploma from an accredited NLN program with a minimum of an associate degree (BSN preferred). Current, valid, and unencumbered RN license, certificate or registration or credentialing as required.
- Intermediate Ability to use computerized systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, HHA Exchange, Electronic and Telephonic Assessments.
- Travel by public transportation or private vehicle is required and will be compensated.
Required experience:
- 1 year minimum of Nursing experience.
- Home care experience - Preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish - Preferred
