NLP Logix is recruiting for a Scrum Master to join its growing team of IT and Business professionals. This position is for a full-time employee, will be based out of Jacksonville, FL and will require less than 10% travel.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Scrum Master to join our dynamic Project Management Team. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the adoption of Agile methodologies and ensuring the successful execution of projects by applying Scrum principles and practices. Reporting directly to the Director of Project Management, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to drive efficient and effective project delivery.

Agile Facilitation

Essential functions and responsibilities

• Act as a servant leader and advocate for Agile values, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective) to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Guide and support the team in adopting Agile practices and maintaining consistency in their application.

Team Empowerment

• Enable the development team to self-organize and make informed decisions, fostering a sense of ownership and accountability.
• Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the team's progress, working collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Communication And Collaboration

• Foster open communication between the development team, Product Owner, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and priorities.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to promote consistency in Agile practices and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Metrics And Reporting

• Collect and analyze project-related metrics and data, providing insights to the team and stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Report project progress, impediments, and potential risks to the Directors, Executive team, and relevant stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team by regularly assessing and adapting Agile practices to enhance efficiency and delivery quality.
• Contribute to retrospectives and encourage the team to reflect on their processes and identify areas for improvement.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with the Project Management team to ensure alignment between project goals, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed effectively.

Documentation And Training

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to project status, deliverables, and Agile processes.
• Provide guidance and training to team members and stakeholders on Agile methodologies and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMI-ACP, CSM, or other Agile certifications preferred.
• 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, with a solid understanding of Scrum principles and practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster collaboration.
• Ability to identify and address challenges and conflicts within the team and across stakeholders.
• Proficient in using Agile project management tools and software.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive continuous improvement.
• Results-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience working within a PMO structure is a plus.
