What are the responsibilities and job description for the Land Contract Analyst position at EDPR?
Role Overview:
Land Contract Analyst is responsible for reviewing and processing land documents, payment due date calculations, routine LPM data maintenance and reporting an other duties related to EDPR NA wind, solar and other projects. Provides backup for document scanning and uploading to the electronic Project Vault and/or Land Package Process application as needed. Serve as liaison between EDPR NA's Development, Legal, Accounting, Asset Management, and Operations departments in all land-related matters.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Confirm new agreements and payment requests conform with audit requirements
- Process land agreements (e.g., met/sodar licenses, lease options, rights of entry, etc.) validating that data in land system is accurate and complete, adjusting LPM data as needed; includes verification of payment requests and audit justification
- Payment review and update as required
- Assist with preparation of payment calculation spreadsheets
- Process electronic land data submissions; review for proper naming conventions before uploading to electronic Project Vault and/or LPM
- Immediate scanning, uploading and LPM data entry on priority project documents to electronic Project Vault and LPM database
- Create new LPM templates; requires analysis of new master agreement document provided by Legal
- Preparation of landowner copy mailouts
- Link land documents in LPM database as directed
- Process routine change of address forms
- Review and process ACH letter amendments
- Additional duties as required
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
- Paralegal certificate a plus
- Experience 0 -3 years of experience in technical, energy, or legal industry; experience with contracts and technical documentation within the energy industry preferred; experience with LandWorks Property Management (LPM) database preferred

- Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment
- Walking: Ability to walk .5 to 2 miles per day, including across unpaved and rough surfaces when on project sites.
- Speech/Reading: Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently and deliver a variety of instructions furnished in written verbal, diagram, or scheduled form
- Lifting: Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds
- Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
