Job Title: Student Advisor
Wage/Hour Status: Exempt
Pay Group: A45 Salary Plan
Primary Purpose: Placement and Testing of students in the educational environment. Serves as a support for the campus and provides assistance and coaching to teachers and staff for instructional improvement, classroom discipline and overall campus improvement.
Qualifications
Education/Certification/Experience:
Master's degree from a college or university accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of Education (USDE).
Standard School Counselor certificate issued by SBEC or University approval for issuance of an Intern or Probationary School Counselor certificate (Applicant MUST include a letter from from the college/university with the application indicating they meet probationary certificate eligibility by acceptance in the certification program.)
OR
State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) Mid-Management/Administrator/Principal Certificate, or other appropriate administrative certificate or be eligible for a probationary certification. (Applicant MUST include a letter from the college/university with the application indicating they meet probationary certificate eligibility by acceptance in the certification program.)
This position requires personal technology that will enable the completion of job duties and responsibilities when working remotely.
