Speech Language Pathologist Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate a Resident’s condition and develop an appropriate SLP rehabilitation plan.
- Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
- Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
- Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
- Supervise the activities of CFYs when required.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
- Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

- Must be a graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist program.
- Must hold current and active SLP license or registration in state employed or CFY
- Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus!
- Completion of orientation required by company policy.
- Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
- Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
- Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
