Job Description
Summary:
Reporting to the Distribution Center Manager, The Inventory Control Manager will supervise, coach, and mentor the inventory team. He/She conducts daily inventory analysis to solve any inventory discrepancies, develops and implements inventory control procedures, and establishes and maintains Distribution Center slotting activity to maintain the most efficient order picking and replenishing. The Inventory Manager works closely with the Operations Manager and Distribution Center Supervisors and has regular interaction with the Supply Chain Managers, Product Information Group, and Purchasing Department.

The Inventory Manager works closely with the Operations Manager and Distribution Center Supervisors and has regular interaction with the Supply Chain Managers, Product Information Group, and Purchasing Department.
Essential Duties:
- Plans, schedules and assigns workloads for team. Coordinates workflow and procedures to maximize service.
- Monitors departmental work productivity and recommends and implements changes to improve work productivity.
- Cross-train staff to maximize productivity and provide coverage in all functions.
- Coordinate and monitor daily cycle counts and virtual locations.
- Review and research backorder/short pick confirmed the report.
- Identify and communicate to management all associate errors in regards to mis-picks, replenishments, and put away.
- Ensure completion of monthly c-order aisle audit and empty bin check.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of vendor returns.
- Ensure flagged item inspections are completed and communicated to PIC in a timely manner.
- Complete returns reconciliation for local and LLH returns.
- Review pick-replenishment analysis and recommend slot changes accordingly.
- Review and correct partial case quantity in the reserve report.
- Review and account for inventory cycle count scorecards.
- Review and account for blocked stock reports.
- Review and account for write-off reports.
- Review and account for location capacity report
- Slotting for new items and re-slotting for existing items. Establish min/max as required.
- Assist in determining proper parameters for items (Ti Hi, LE quantity, replenishment quantity, max bin quantity, max pick)
- Quality Control audits with external vendors.
- Review and perform daily inventory adjustments.
- Ensure proper record keeping of all inventory activity.
- Others duties as assigned.

Required minimum knowledge, skills, education/training, experience, and physical obligations:

- High School Diploma or GED plus 4 years of relatable experience.
- Excellent verbal and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
- Proficient in Excel and Word.

- Four year college degree
