What you'll do :
The Digital Practice Management Department, within the Digital Division, is responsible for the design, development and enhancement of world-class technologies which enable Edward Jones Financial Advisors to deliver exceptional value and service to their clients. As a Product Owner within Digital Practice Management, you will combine deep subject matter expertise, vision and strategy, systems thinking and product management capabilities to produce highly integrated and effective tools.
Operating at the intersection of business strategy and technology development, our Digital Practice Management department provides a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Our teams deliver value to all aspects of the client experience, including the creation of personalized financial plans and account solutions, advanced portfolio construction tools, a suite of client relationship management capabilities, and online and mobile applications.
Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of:
- Act as the Product Owner for one or more systems, leading a multi-disciplinary and cross-divisional systems team in the pursuit of delivering value to our end users and the firm.
- Set strategy and curate system roadmap, which outlines the body of work expected now, next, and into the future as the product moves towards its vision
- Provide direction and ensure alignment for adjacent product teams who are also working on their system(s).
- Be primary contact for issues/escalations related to their systems and provide resolution whenever possible.
- Build and manage systems plans and supporting artifacts encompassing resource requirements, business/stakeholder/solutions requirements, dependencies, timelines, milestones, and success criteria as necessary to deliver on the promised business value.
- Develop depth and breadth of subject matter expertise in Product Management, Systems Thinking and the competitive/industry landscape, and actively work to expand that expertise within the organization.
- Provide mentorship to less senior associates within the organization
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
- 7 years of experience required in one or more of these fields:
- Product or agile project management
- Development and management of FinTech/Wealth applications or websites (advisor and/or client-facing)
- Financial planning, wealth management and/or portfolio construction
- Investment advisory, brokerage and/or insurance products

**Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
