We are seeking a Compensation Director to help develop and implement a long-term compensation strategy that supports Edward Jones business strategies and objectives. We want a talented individual that will play a key role to help the firm attract, motivate, develop, and retain a high-performing and engaged workforce. In this role, you will have an opportunity to take an active role in large, complex, or multiple projects that help drive business strategies.

We are seeking a Compensation Director to help develop and implement a long-term compensation strategy that supports Edward Jones business strategies and objectives. We want a talented individual that will play a key role to help the firm attract, motivate, develop, and retain a high-performing and engaged workforce. In this role, you will have an opportunity to take an active role in large, complex, or multiple projects that help drive business strategies.
Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of:
- Establish and integrate the Compensation long term strategy and contribute to the establishment of the strategic direction of Compensation.
- Develop Compensation team members for greater contribution with the potential to formally lead
- Collaborate with and leverage internal and external relationships to benchmark and ensure competitiveness
- Build strong relationship with all stakeholders (e.g., Human Capital, Legal, and Finance, etc.)
- Assists in developing communications and training to improve overall understanding of compensation programs
What Experience You'll Need:
What Could Set You Apart:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent field.
- 15 years of direct experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, including:
- Strong understanding of compensation philosophy and practices
- General understanding of other functional areas of HR
- Appropriate knowledge of applicable technology for both the functional area and for the firm
- Strong analytical skills
- Superior communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to influence directly and indirectly
