Team Overview:
The Mobile CoE Strategy Team is the single journey owner of the Enterprise Mobile Strategy for the firm. This team will collaborate with key stakeholders from all digital product portfolios and shared technology services teams to define, develop and execute strategic mobile initiatives to achieve firm strategic objectives and desired outcomes. Current key initiatives this team is focused on is updating the firms Enterprise Mobile Strategy, including defining the enterprise mobile device strategy.
The Mobile UX Researcher will work with the Mobile Strategy Lead and Mobile Domain Architect to perform the following, but not limited to, responsibilities:
• Partner and collaborate with Edward Jones key stakeholders and third-party technology partners to develop the Enterprise Mobile Strategy and Roadmap and guide the execution of the prioritized initiatives.
• Conduct research and develop comprehensive executive reports on market and industry (i.e., financial services, wealth management) trends in using mobile and digital transformation technologies and solutions to present to key stakeholders of the product portfolios and STS teams
• Assist with reviewing and providing input on innovative mobile solutions identified by the Mobile Innovation and Innovation Factory teams to ensure they align with firm priorities and enterprise mobile strategy
What You'll Do:
• Leads strategic design and execution of user-centered research and usability studies that provide actionable insights which influence design and development of associate, branch team and client systems, tools, applications and processes.
• Leads support and evolution of centralized User Experience Research functional capabilities including research tools, procedures and documentation, recruiting, data management, and onboarding.
• Leads planning and execution of strategic efforts and innovations to support and advance centralized User Experience Research team capabilities.
• Collaborates and supports business areas and objectives that align to firm, division and department priorities and focus on client and user centricity.
• Designs and executes user research using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Determines and recommends the most efficient and effective research approaches to solve for business needs and meet agreed-upon objectives, then guides business areas through the appropriate User Experience process.
• Identifies and applies appropriate change management best practices and approach to build rapport, understand user needs, address resistance and reinforce key learnings or results.
• Monitors User Experience project execution, including establishing and tracking User Experience project metrics and conducting evaluations.
• Identifies, influences, supports and partners with multi-disciplinary teams, including other business areas, to execute User Experience projects.
• Takes ownership for self-development, stays current with research techniques and tools in the field of User Experience.
• Works with and provides supporting documentation to others that influences product, system or application development and implementation to ensure creation of efficient, sustainable and successful results.
• Mentors and assists the User Experience Researchers as it relates to similar User Experience project needs.
• Assists leadership with strategic planning, resource allocation and guidance to User Experience associates.

What Experience You Need:
- 2 years of experience with mobile research
- Bachelor’s degree in Usability, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or relevant field.
- 5 years of User Experience research experience.
- Expert in both qualitative and quantitative user experience research methodologies.
- Proactively develops self in the field of current and emerging research and technology.
- Expert in critical thinking, strategic thinking, process improvement, relationship-building and problem-solving abilities.
- Expert in written and verbal communication.
- Able to expertly research, analyze and consolidate data into trends and share with teams.
