Production Technician - Marine Assembly

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for 50 Production Technicians - Marine Assembly with a great company located in the Bradenton, FL area. The company offers a competitive Full Benefits package, including but not limited to, Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits.

Duties:

• Performing set-up of equipment necessary for the laying of fiberglass and the assembly of mechanics.

• Responsible for installing boat accessories. Candidate will utilize power tools to drill holes, attach brackets, and install hardware on deck of the boat.

• Fabricate, install, and repair powerboats' rigging. Install aluminum arches and hardtops for each boat produced.

• Survey and inspect rigging and make recommendations for replacements or corrective repairs.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Management teams to solve and prevent issues in Rigging/Production processes.

Qualifications:

• Prior Marine Rigging/Marine Production Assembly experience preferred.
• Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
• Prior experience with power tools required.
• Position duties require full range of motion - must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., extend, reach, grasp, twist, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in a hot environment.
• Must have or be willing to provide their own tools after certain period of time.
• Must be able to work from 7:00AM-5:30PM, Monday-Friday
