The EF International Language School in EF Pasadena, California is currently hiring an Activity Manager. This is an exciting opportunity not to be missed!

The EF International Language School hosts students from over 60 different countries who come here to learn the English Language and about America Culture. Our population consists of students ranging from adults to teens. We are looking for a creative person who can help develop and facilitate events of all types.

What will you be doing?

Working with the school management team to deliver an exceptional experience to our students. You would have responsibility for the activity program of the student experience and be integral in shaping the customer experience. Support a team of international and local leaders / RAs to plan and deliver the activities offered. You will help in planning & delivering safe and fun activities that will give the students a sense of the local culture while having fun with their new international friends. Every day is different, you may go from working on the activity plan and administration to running epic themed Murder Mysteries while dressed as your favorite film character! Responsibilities may also include:

• Plan, organize, promote and oversee a variety of activities, social events, daytrips and multi-day excursions included on the activity program.
• Manage, coach, motivate and provide performance evaluations to your team of RA’s, Activity Leaders and International Course Leaders
• Manage finances to ensure activities remain within budget; manage activity stock and supplies.
• Manage all activity program logistics, including bus transportation, staff scheduling and troubleshooting.
• Manage relationships with local suppliers and partners
• Plan and organize staff events and Famtrips
• Deliver weekly team meetings; create and distribute “game plans” to your team.
• Be available to work 6 days a week during peak season (on occasion), and late nights for some events and assist with emergency situations should they arrive.

In this role you will oversee students traveling from all over the world! In this position you will always offer superb customer service. The perfect candidate will be extremely organized with the ability to think outside the box and have a passion for culture! The hours are flexible, but some fun nights and weekends are required.

To be successful in this role you must be a team player that can lead from the front, be outgoing and have great attention to detail. You should be passionate about customer service and providing quality. We need you to be legally able to work in the United States or have a work permit.
