Must have a valid drivers license, clean driving record, be at least 21 years of age, and have experience hauling a trailer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Efland Trash Service is looking for a Driver for Residential Routes to join our team! In this position you will be operating a SUV hauling a 14' trailer on a specified route.
Monday-Friday day shift

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Ability to safely operate a SUV with 14' trailer on specified routes to collect solid waste.
-This is a position requiring regular lifting and climbing in and out of the vehicle.
-Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
-Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
-This is a full time, year round position. A typical schedule for this position is Monday – Friday
-Employees are paid bi-weekly (direct deposit offered).

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
-Physical activity. Requires some strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required
-Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts, which require following basic safety precautions.
-The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-Valid drivers license
-Clean driving record.
-Experience hauling a trailer
-Ability to perform physically demanding job in all weather conditions, and demonstrated experience thereof.
