Maitre'd Duties and Responsibilities
- Make, adjust, and cancel customer reservations
- Greet customers and guide them to their tables
- Answer customer questions regarding food, drinks, and specials
- Resolve customer complaints or disputes
- Manage waitstaff to ensure efficient and excellent service throughout a given seating
- Manage bookings and ensure flow efficiency
- Confirm bookings daily
- Drive new business through relationship building
- Communicate with BOH and FOH relevant guest information
- Manage VIP and guest notes
Maitre'd Requirements and Qualifications
- At least five years in a high-end, fast-paced restaurant environment
- Adaptive organizational skills and the ability to change plans to meet new circumstances
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to tactfully deliver unwelcome news to customers
- Strong cash handling skills
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $1,300.00 per week
