Responsibilities:
Typical Day in the Life
The Application Specialist at Eide Bailly will provide system-level support of multi-user operating systems, hardware and software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of these systems. Provides consultation, second level support, documentation, and training to users of computer and technology-based systems.
- Provides system-level support of multi-user operating systems, hardware and software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of these systems.
- Provides in-depth support for a narrowly defined technology application and provides backup support for a broad range of information related technologies.
- Identifies potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability.
- Documents solutions in a way that will assist staff who encounter similar problems in the future.

Provides level II support for the Firm’s critical applications.

Keeps up-to-date with technical as well as industry sector developments.

Ensures that budgets are adhered to and deadlines met.

Maintains confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.

May participate in system integration and network analysis activities.

May maintain hardware and software inventories for local office.
- May provide onsite support for the Help Desk to troubleshoot desktop and /or printer hardware issues
Who You Are
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

2 years of experience in information technology systems, applications or support.

Experience with PC hardware and software required.
- Experience with Microsoft products is preferred.

Working knowledge of a wide variety of technologies to effectively support clients’ technical needs.

Working knowledge of PC hardware and software including printers and scanners.

Basic knowledge of networking concepts.

Ability to identify and resolve conflicts between technology and business objectives.

Outstanding customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.

Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients.
