Responsibilities:
Typical Day in the Life

The Program Manager at Eide Bailly communicates and collaborates with Program team members, Stakeholders, Governance, and Firm Leadership to ensure Program goals are realized from beginning to end of the program life cycle. This includes status tracking and communication, consensus building, risk management, vendor management, project efficacy analysis, roadmap planning and review, sprint planning and implementation, and UAT coordination.
A typical day in the life of this role might include the following:
  • Communicates with all program stakeholders to ensure that the appropriate parties are notified of and involved in ongoing program work, proper expectations of outcomes are set, all necessary approvals and sign-offs are received, any conflicting requirements or expectations are appropriately addressed and mediated, and appropriate UAT testing resources are available and allocated.
  • Manages Governance review and prioritization process with stakeholders to drive decisions resulting in the approved work-effort roadmap for their program.
  • Implements the Governance approved work-effort roadmap and involves all impacted parties from planning to implementation, ensuring all requirements and concerns are effectively addressed throughout the program life cycle.
  • Identifies risks and issues within the program activities and works with the stakeholders and program team members to implement mitigation, remediation, and/or contingency plans.
  • Plans and executes program work sprints ensuring full utilization of resources is achieved.
  • Plans and executes projects related to the managed program.
  • Manages all budgetary needs of their program, including preparing proposals and receiving approvals as necessary.
  • Manages vendor relationships related to their program including projecting budgetary needs (licensing, renewals, consulting), issue escalation, and evaluation of the effectiveness of vendor usage.
  • Ongoing reviews of implemented solutions, validating efficacy and ROI of their continued usage
  • Utilizes and enforces PMO standards and methodologies for program activities, as well as communicating any opportunities for improvement of those processes.
  • Learns and understands the program at a deep level to ensure effective communication and coordination, of all parties from program team members to executive leadership, to support Firm strategy and objectives.
Qualifications:
Who You Are
  • You have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field.
  • You have 2 years of experience in IT portfolio and project management.
  • You have previous business analyst or business process management experience (preferred).
  • You are able to actively listen and interpret business objectives to derive technical requirements.
  • You are able to identify and resolve conflicts between project objectives, technical capabilities and resource limitations.
  • You have well-rounded knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems, database fundamentals and computer software.
  • You are able to work independently with minimal supervision and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
  • You are able to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
  • You are able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients.
  • You are proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and using various software packages
Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
