Company Description
Eikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical company employing revolutionary technology at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, computation, and biology to discover novel treatments for life-threatening diseases. Eikon’s discovery platform is built on groundbreaking innovations from its founders (Nobel Prize, 2014), culminating in the creation of microscopes which enable real-time, molecular-resolution measurements of protein movement in living cells, thereby unlocking otherwise intractable classes of proteins as drug targets.
Position
The Senior Manager, Software Test will build and manage a team of Software Test Engineers that will design and implement tests for both R&D and production software integral to Eikon’s drug-discovery and related product development efforts.
About You
You have a passion for testing (and breaking!) software both mechanistically and scientifically, exposing bugs and conceptual errors. You have a desire deeply understand the broad scientific and business context (the “why”) of scientific experiments as well as “how” these experiments are designed, performed, and analyzed. You are a compassionate manager able to help your team juggle competing priorities and stay focused on long-term goals, while encouraging them to have flexibility to keep up with the pace of experimental science.
