Senior Manager- IT Risk Advisory (EisnerAmper Digital)

Job Description EisnerAmper Digital is looking for an exceptional Senior Manager to join the practice as a dedicated member of its IT Risk Advisory team. Senior Managers in IT Risk Advisory drive value for our clients by delivering a range of IT risk, governance, and strategy services, leading technology initiatives, and developing and mentoring staff. Role description: Oversee the entirety of IT Risk and integrated engagements within the EA Digital practice. Candidates must be self-starters that are willing to step in and do what’s necessary to make sure the client is satisfied, staff are engaged, and the engagement is performed with the utmost quality. Supervise IT general control (ITCG), application control, SOC report testing and reviews in support of Risk Advisory engagements. Oversee other types of IT attestation and consulting engagements, such as IT Internal Audit Outsourcing/Co-Sourcing, SOX Management Assist, Systems Pre- and Post-Implementation Reviews, Enterprise Governance of IT, Privacy and Data Protection, and IT/Cybersecurity Assessments. Conduct process walkthroughs with the purpose of identifying and promoting key IT controls and processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and oversee IT control testing plans such as IT-dependent manual controls, system-generated reports, system interface controls, and calculations. Use knowledge of IT governance, risk and control frameworks and guidelines, industry trends and heightened regulatory expectations to identify issues, assess risk/impact, and develop value-added recommendations and communicate this information to the engagement team and clients through written correspondence and verbal presentations. Proactively interact and develop rapport with clients to gather information, resolve problems, confirm our understanding of the issues, and make recommendations for risk mitigation and process improvement. Maintain a deep understanding and workable knowledge of commonly used internal control and IT risk frameworks Share your experience working with a variety of industries and technology environments, platforms, applications, and tools/utilities Basic qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or other related field of study 7 years of experience working in compliance, internal audit, risk management, or other related field in either professional services or industry Experience working with one or more of the following frameworks: Sarbanes-Oxley, JSOX, MAR, COBIT, COSO, NIST, ITIL, and ITGCs Have or be willing to obtain within a reasonable period one or more of the following certifications: CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, and CRISC. Ideally, you'll also have: An advanced degree and/or deep industry experience Experience acquiring new clients, putting together proposals, and supporting business development activities #LI-JB1 Preferred Location: New York
