We are looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our team.
The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will build and nurture relationships with customers and subscribers by creating meaningful touchpoints and experiences. You will manage the strategy behind any triggered/transactional emails, recurring campaigns, drip series, and custom lifecycle flows. This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and will oversee cross-channel nurturing campaigns from end to end, from creating new personalized email flows to testing, QAing, executing, and analyzing performance. You will manage SMS marketing communications, Subscribe and Save SMS & emails, on-site promos, and retention initiatives, marketing automation, and loyalty programs.
This is a core revenue-producing role for our brands. The ideal candidate will thrive in a performance-driven and collaborative environment. This role will lead a team that is responsible to produce $15,000,000 in revenue from email and SMS campaigns in 2023.
Responsibilities
- Design strategies to strengthen customer retention and optimization of messaging for promotional, triggered, subscription, and operational emails, push notifications & SMS.
- Create and own the monthly email content calendar and work cross-functionally with merchandising, web production, and creative to oversee the execution of all email, push notification, and SMS campaigns
- Build mobile & desktop emails in Klaviyo using the WYSIWYG editor with the use of existing templates and email modules built by the design team.
- Build & schedule acquisition and retention marketing email and SMS blasts.
- Lead QA of all emails, along with design, copy, and strategy teams to ensure the messaging vision is translated accurately into email campaigns
- Analyze weekly data and provide actionable insights, develop optimizations through learnings and best practices, and identify new opportunities for channel growth
- Collaborate with other digital channel stakeholders to design multi-channel lifecycle journeys
- Support the management and execution of daily email & SMS initiatives, including project status tracking, email creation, QA testing processes, and reporting.
- Develop and own testing agenda for the email program
- Work with the email team to develop and continually improve email modules, templates, processes, and customer engagement.
- Communicate processes for developing lifecycle marketing campaigns across full marketing and creative teams. Seek ways to continuously improve the processes and communication structure to streamline the asset creation process.
- Project manage day-to-day lifecycle programs and ensure projects are running smoothly.
- Develop, manage, and track campaign reporting efforts (Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and Shopify).
- Assign tasks (with detailed instructions for the creative) to the design team for emails, SMS imagery, popups, etc.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of email marketing in an eCommerce product environment where email has produced $10,000,000 annually.
- Expertise with Klaviyo is strongly preferred.
- Experience with consumable product lines with subscribe and save offers is also strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience building complex email campaigns in segmentation and testing within an email service provider
- Experience managing a team of direct reports
- Strong analytical skills and experience creating data-driven decisions through A/B testing, campaign performance, and comfort with data analysis
- Strong organizational & communication skills, with the ability to follow through with complex projects

Compensation
- Salary; $72,000 - $75,000
- Annual Bonus Potential; up to $40,000 (revenue goal driven)
