Job Description:
We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced HP OneView Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our professional services team. The successful candidate will play an essential role in setting up Out of Band (OOB) management and integrating it with the pre-existing HP OneView in our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
· Setup, manage, and optimize Out of Band (OOB) management in the existing environment.
· Ensure seamless integration of the OOB setup with the existing HP OneView solution.
· Provide comprehensive technical support related to HP OneView and the broader server environment.
· Collaborate with different teams to ensure that the OOB setup with HP OneView functions smoothly across all systems and platforms.
· Conduct training sessions for IT staff on the efficient use of HP OneView and the OOB setup.
· Keep abreast of HP OneView updates and industry best practices to ensure the solution is used optimally.
· Document processes and maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of system integrations and modifications.
· Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on project progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Extensive hands-on experience with HP OneView, including implementation, administration, and troubleshooting.
· Proven expertise in Out of Band management setup and integration.
· Strong knowledge of server architecture and networking.
· Ability to work collaboratively with teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
· Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Other Requirements:
· Must be a U.S. citizen or hold a valid Green Card due to the sensitive nature of the work and related regulations.
· Must pass a rigorous background verification process.
· Must be willing and able to be on site at either Essex Junction, VT or Malta, NY, as required.
· Must be able to commit to the project duration from August 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023.
Preferred:
· Relevant certifications related to HP OneView or similar technologies. Here are the related certifications that cover HP OneView:
o HPE Product Certified - OneView:
o HPE ASE - Synergy Solutions Integrator V1:.
o HPE Master ASE - Advanced Server Solutions Architect V3:
o HPE ASE - Composable Infrastructure Integrator V1:
· Prior experience in a similar industry or role.
· Familiarity with FIPS 140-2 standard and compliance considerations.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
