Duties
- Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings such as nursing homes, primary care facilities, and memory care units
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, collaborating with healthcare professionals to adjust care plans as needed
- Perform specialized procedures including suture removal, mammography, and sonography
- Utilize acute pain management techniques for patient comfort
- Implement dementia care strategies to support patients with memory-related conditions
- Conduct geriatric assessments and develop individualized care plans
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Strong knowledge of geriatrics, acute pain management, and dementia care
- Experience in primary care settings is preferred
- Proficiency in medical systems and electronic health records
- Ability to perform specialized procedures like suture removal, mammography, and sonography
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients and healthcare teams
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
