Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring patients' vital signs and assisting with various medical procedures.
Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry data
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Perform various nursing procedures including IV insertions, catheterizations, and tube feedings
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience in telemetry nursing
- Proficiency in patient assessment and critical care transport
- Competency in IV insertion, catheter care, and phlebotomy
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
This position requires a valid nursing license and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Previous experience working with telemetry patients is preferred. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
