FTE 1 Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours 80 Work Shift Day: 8 hours Job Description Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to promote optimum imaging procedures. Provides imaging services as defined by Title 17 (Radiologic Health Branch) and Title 22 (Department of Health Services) for the State of California. Applying the principles in assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and modifying patient imaging care as an active, continuous process. The Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides administrative oversight for the nuclear medical technology department: Nuc Med, PETCT and Therapy treatments. They will supervise other staff nuclear medicine technologists, and may perform the functions of a Nuclear Medicine Technologist as needed. The Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be a proven, dynamic leader who uses creative thinking to grow the department and expand services to meet our patient and provider needs. Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Nuclear Medicine, ARRT (NM) or NMTCB upon hire. 2. 5 years’ experience in the related area as an individual contributor with demonstrated proficiency in both Nuclear Medicine and PETCT 3. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience Preferred: Siemens equipment experience Prior experience in acute care hospital setting Bachelor’s degree in HealthCare Management or related field License/Certification/Registration Requirements 1. CDPH License in Nuclear Medicine 2. ARRT (NM) or NMTCB for graduates after 2007 3. BLS The Physical Requirements and Working Conditions of this job are available.
