Nestled high above LoHi on the fifth floor of 2930 Umatilla, El Five boasts spectacular, unobstructed views of the downtown Denver skyline. The menu pays tribute to Spain and the Mediterranean, featuring tapas & small plates built on bold flavors found throughout the region: Spain, North Africa, the Middle East. Inside, the highlight of the space is a large, open-air patio to enjoy incredible views of the Denver skyline.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take and prepare drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations
- Check customer identification to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system
- Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Stay up-to-date on current cocktail trends and menu offerings
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
- Attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in a similar setting
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage offerings
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- TIPS or equivalent certification is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
