Your Challenge:

We are currently seeking an experienced Intern Architect to join our local team in Saint John or Fredericton, NB,

Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Project Manager and Project Captain through the development of design concepts
• Prepare architectural presentation documents
• Research sustainable design and design solutions related to project work
• Provide building code support
• Prepare design details and contract documents in collaboration with the design team

The Skills & Knowledge You Bring:

• Professional degree in Architecture and a minimum of 2 years of architectural office experience (including co-op experience) as an Intern Architect with the AANB (or eligible to become an Intern Architect)
• Self-motivated individual capable of assuming increasing responsibility for both current and future projects with an interest in growing with the firm
• Ability to multi-task and coordinate efforts on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated strong skills in creative design solutions
• Knowledge of the Nova Scotia Building Code, building systems and materials
• Strong working knowledge of current versions of Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D Max
• Good working knowledge of Sketch-up, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Enthusiastic team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
